Programs that aim to improve the health of those who are economically disadvantaged, with a focus on cancer, respiratory, cardiovascular,

neurological, diabetes, gastrointestinal or urologic diseases, disorders, and mental wellness through one of these approaches: disease prevention,

access to care, disease awareness and diagnosis or quality of care.

The Foundation supports programs focused on improving STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

educational opportunities and academic development for K-12 students who are economically disadvantaged.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

$300,000 in scholarships given to 97 Students

In keeping with its mission, the Boston Scientific Foundation offers academic scholarships to eligible children of United States-based employees of Boston Scientific Corporation, who attend an accredited post-secondary institution to pursue any course of undergraduate study. Selection of recipients and management of the program is done by Scholarship America, Inc.
