Video Everywhere• A YouTube account is required
• Will record your video into your YouTube account as an “unlisted video”.
• Only those with the link (i.e. those who can access your course) can see the video.
• You could combine with Adaptive Release so that the video is only available to
– A certain individual– A group– Any student who has attained a certain score in a quiz /
marked certain content as “reviewed” etc.
• YouTube videos can be played on Ipad, Iphone etc

Student Preview• See your course through the eyes of a student.
• While Edit Mode set to Off gives you a good idea, Student Preview does much more:
– Take a test and get results just like a student does
– View your course with the same privileges as a student.
– Test adaptive release rules.

– Tell them how you will use this information– If you make some custom rules why not let them
know what they are?

Of primary importance is to focus on people-centered, community-driven approaches. The discourse of big data and community resilience often excludes local participation by less powerful or technically literate populations. As a result, external experts may reduce complex social problems like community resilience to terms that are suited to technological solutions. • Reward students with a badge, a certificate, or both.
• Students can export their badge to the external third party “Open Backpack” system where they can display these badges and any other such badges they receive.

the “brand” of the University is diluted through issuing frivolous badges.

• Open Backpack is a modern digital package with many integration possibilities into e-portfolio, professional bodies etc.
• Students earn badges on their path to continuous learning as they leave the institution.
