Beckman Coulter waterproof systems have been designed to meet IP67 specifica-tions (International Protection). IP67 is an internationally recognized standarddescribing the requirements for dust-tight and waterproof systems.

DUST TIGHT (6)No ingress of dust, protection against access to hazardous parts with a wire,access probe of 1mm shall not penetrate.

TEMPORARY IMMERSION (7)Protected against the effects of temporary immersion in water, ingress of water in quantities causing harmful effects shall not be possible when the enclosure is temporarily immersed in water under standardized conditions of pressure and time, duration of test is 30 minutes.

“CORK-IN-THE-BOTTLE” DESIGNThis unique concept has been thoroughly tested and proven to be the superiorwaterproof design. Clam shell designs are not as effective because of the large and sometimes uneven surfaces an O-ring has to seal.

The O-ring in the connector cap seals the top of the system.This item is factoryinstalled but can be removed for repair purposes.The battery holder is removableto allow the user to easily change batteries.The O-ring effectively seals the bottompart and protects the batteries as well as the electronics.
