The established relationship continues between Barovier&Toso, the Murano-based company founded
in 1295 and still engaged today in its path of experimentation in the world of glassmaking, and the
prestigious collection of Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts. The new Bvlgari Hotel Beijing offers a true "urban
resort" located in the Chaoyang district, the heart of the Chinese capital, inside a green oasis of
tranquillity, entirely designed by the Italian architecture firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. The
architects have formulated both the interiors and the external image to create a true “Bvlgari jewel”.

As in the case of the design of the Bvlgari Ginza Tower in Tokyo, for the hotel in Beijing Barovier&Toso
has provided custom solutions, in which the Spinn chandelier is utilised in three special areas: at the
centre of the staircase leading to the ballroom, with a surprising installation, in the reception area of
the BVLGARI Spa and in Il Ristorante Niko Romito, where marvellous cascades of Spinn elements with a
golden colour generate a magical atmosphere for guests.
This is a personalised project in which the creations of Barovier&Toso play a role of romanticism and
elegance, in tune with the characteristics of the hotel itself. These precious masterpieces in Murano
glass perfectly match the spirit of Italian design applied by the architects of the new Bvlgari Hotel
Beijing to suggest refinement, elegance and hospitality, bearing witness to the clear synergy of the
values for which the two brands are famous.Theresultoftheexpertiseofmasterglassmakers, theSpinn chandeliers decorate space with patterns and shadows thanks to the typical “a balotòn”
technique, prompting vivid emotions as in the finest tradition of Murano.
A project that illustrates the company’s ability to create custom proposals for outstanding luxury
brands.
