PBDEs (fire retardants in plastics) cause neuro-developmental damage, thyroid hormone disruption and liver toxicity. Phthalates (in fabric softeners) cause birth defects, impaired learning, liver toxicity, premature births, and early puberty. Your car has large amounts of both these.
