● If there is a change in your child’s transportation schedule please send an email or written note to the teacher/office.

● Call the office if your dismissal plans change once school has started for the day.

Transportation TagsA transportation tag will be placed on the outside of your child’s backpack so the driver can easily view the schedule for your child.

● It is extremely important that all parent or guardian information is kept current with the school.

Please remember to update changes on the parent portal.

appropriate clothing & clean mask in his/her backpack at all times. Accidents happen... mud, bathroom or lunch spills.

Birthday Celebrations

● Longfellow recognizes this special day by giving the birthday child a crown, pencil, and book.

● NO edible treats to share with the class are permitted due to allergies.

● Do not send birthday invitations to school. Please use the Classroom Directory for communications outside of school. Thanks for your cooperation.

DonationsThroughout the year parents often ask if we need anything. We can always use glue sticks, crayons, and dry erase markers.

● Take-home folders contain your child’s work or papers from the office that may need to be signed and returned.

● Put any notes you need us to see inside the folder, as loose papers in backpacks or small hands often get lost.

● Please check and empty this folder weekly so it doesn’t become cluttered.
