PRINCIPAL’S REPORT

FOOTY COLOURS DAY

Tomorrow is our Footy Colours Day. It is an out of uniform

day and students are encouraged to come along dressed in

their favourite team’s colours.

We will be having a team colours parade just after 9.00 at the deck.

From 12.00 we will be having the long kicking competition for all grade levels,

culminating in the annual Golden Boot and Pink Boot kick offs.

All grades will then be involved in some short footy matches in their various grade

levels.

Any students wearing North Melbourne colours will be allowed to have the next two

weeks away from school!

ASSEMBLY

We will be conducting an end of term Assembly tomorrow from 2.00pm. At the Assembly, John Reid will be

presenting the end of Term 3 KIWANIS Terrific Kids Award. We will also be presenting the weekly classroom

awards, some Mathletics Achievement awards for Grade 5/6 students and the Golden Boot and Pink Boot.

THANK YOU

Emily & Luke would like to pass on a very big heart felt thank you to the wider school community for their

generosity and support after their recent house fire. They have been flooded with an amazing amount of items

and food that have helped them get back on their feet quickly. They have recently moved into a new place and

are very appreciative of the help they have had in getting things back to normal.

REGIONAL ATHLETIC CHAMPIONSHIPS

On Monday, 11 of our senior students competed in

the Bendigo District Athletic Championships.

Well done to Jaeyln, Alex, Katya, Angus, Lincoln,

Tahlia, Nadia, Georgia, Zane, Anthony and Piper

who competed with great determination.

HOLIDAY PROGRAM

Claire, Craig & Gemma will again be running a

holiday program in the upcoming holidays. Details

on the poster above. Contact Claire on 1300434155

for further information. Places are filling fast so be

quick.

See flyer below for further details.

SWIMMING

Our whole school Swimming Program is on during the first week of Term Four. We will again be travelling

to the Eaglehawk YMCA indoor pool and will engage their swimming instructors to teach our students in

groups of 8-10.

We will complete our Swimming Program in two groups, with approx. 50-55 students in each group. Our

sessions will run each day from 11am (Gr 2/3/4) and 11.40am (P/1 & 5/6). We will be travelling by bus.

We are anticipating that being the first week back next term, forgetting swimming gear on the first

Monday back could be an issue. We are suggesting families may want to bring in a named bag tomorrow

with bathers, goggles, towel, change of underpants if required, and leave it in the classrooms ready for

day 1.
