The ADI-R (Le Couteur, Lord, & Ru.er, 2003) is a semi-structured, standardized interview for the assessment of au:sm spectrum disorders (ASD) in children and adults. In conjunc7on with the Au7sm Diagnos7c Observa7on Schedule-2nd Edi7on (ADOS-2), the ADI-R is the “gold standard” in the clinical diagnosis of ASD and a useful aid for treatment planning. Administered to caregivers, the ADI-R focuses on behavior in 3 areas: quali7es of social interac7on; communica7on and language; and restricted and repe77ve interests and behaviors. The training: § The training takes place over 3 days. § Trainees will learn how to administer and code the ADI-R through introduc7on, role play, & discussion. § The training will be held in English. Limited spaces are available for trainees wishing to prac6ce in French. § What will I get from the training? Knowledge for administering and coding the ADI-R in clinical seTngs (clinical reliability). § Research Reliability Trainees wishing to achieve research reliability level of cer7fica7on can choose to submit 2 addi7onal post- course assignments (at an extra cost of CHF 400.-).
