• New Reduced Rate band - Salary less than £23,999 pa [currently Salary £22,999 and below]

• New Standard Rate band - Salary £24,000-£45,999 pa [currently Salary £23,000 to £49,999]

• New Senior Rate band - Salary £46,000 and above pa [currently Salary £50,000 and above]

Trading Subsidiary

Charity Commission Guidance - a Trading Subsidiary can be an effective mechanism for:

1) Generating funds for the parent Charity2) Reducing tax liability3) Protecting the assets of the parent Charity AGM mandated the Board of Trustees to:1) Fully explore the risks/benefits of establishing a trading

subsidiary, seeking specialist advice as necessary2) Subject to advice, proceed with the creation of a trading

subsidiary in line with prevailing statutory and regulatory frameworks

Constitutional Amendments

• Constitution may be amended by not less than 75% of those present and voting at an AGM/EGM

• Clarifications to the mode of operation of the Board of Trustees proposed

• Minor amendments approved to clauses 08, 11 and 17

• New Bye-Law endorsed
