    Removal of ArcPad from your mobile device can be performed using the AddlRemove Programsoption from the Tools m enu in M icrosoft ActiveSync while your m obile device is connected to yourdesktop system AhemateIy, you can use the Remove Programs option from the Settings menu onyou r mobile d ev ic e.

    There are issues on mobile devices with uninstalling o r ove rwriting fonts . It is reco rrn nen ded to remov ethe A rcPad font m anually by using W indows Explorer on the desktop to navigate to the\Wmdmw\Fonts directory on the connected m obile device and using the standard file delete inW indows Explorer to remove the file esri_30.ttf. The A rcPad Fonts changed at A rcPad 7.0, and newfonts have been added, so it is re co rrnn end ed th at y ou u nin stall th e e xistin g A rcP ad F on t from p re viou sversions of A rcP ad.     PhotoLayerTools: displays a list ofphoto layers in the current A rcPad m ap, and exports the selectedPhoto L ayer into a point shapefi1 e. The EX IF tags are exported as attributes in the shapefi1e.

    To use these tools, add the \Program Files\A rcPad 7 .0\Tools path to the A pplets path in the A rcPad O ptionsand restart A rcPad. The tools will be loaded w hen A rcPad starts.

Once a 1anguage pack has been installed on a device, it can be selected from tLocale page of the A rcPad O ptions dialog box.In order to use a 1anguage pack w ith A rcPad, the locale and codeset mist be supported on the device. TheL ocale page of the A rcPad O ptions only lists the locales w hich are supported on the device.
