Standing on a windy hill,
Grasses rippling round my feet,
Breezes dancing through the flowers,
Makes the meadows smell so sweet.
Brown hawk sweeping down the sky
To treetops waving in the wind,
The lazy sun sinks down below,
Leaving shadows in the glen.
I feel God’s presence all around
This perfect place He made for me.
There is so much beauty to be found
If I only take the time to see.
~ Ruth Timmons
April is….
National Autism Awareness Month: In order to highlight the growing need for concern and awareness about autism, the Autism Society has been celebrating National Autism Awareness Month since the 1970s. The United States recognizes April as a special opportunity to educate the public about autism and issues within the autism community. The Autism Awareness Puzzle Ribbon is the most recognized symbol of the autism community in the world. Autism prevalence is now 1 in every 88 children in America. Show your support for people with autism by wearing the Autism Awareness Puzzle Ribbon and educate folks on the potential of people with autism! You can learn more about Autism at: http://www.autism-society.org/
April Fools Day: 4.1 Traditionally, April Fool's Day is an opportunity for playing jokes or tricks on one another. The stranger and the more absurd the better. The challenge is to carry out a trick that is believable, if only for a little while. Tricks are most successful if played earlier in the day before a person is wise to what is going on.
Holy Week: 4/13-19 The last week of Lent, it is a time of preparation before Easter. This week includes events like Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday. All of these events mark different significant points during the time when Jesus was in Jerusalem before the Resurrection.

Happy Birthday!
Pastor’s Corner ~ Rev. Temple Diehl
This is what I keep hearing over and over again,
“Easter is late this year.” “It seems so late to be
having Easter.” “I don’t really know when to
plant, because Easter is so late.” Well I say to you
today, that Easter is absolutely right on time.
Actually every day is a resurrection day, every
day can be Easter if we are living with our
resurrected Lord and Savior.
As we prepare to celebrate Easter, let us rejoice in
the fact that we can celebrate every day.
“Why do you seek the living among the dead? He
is not here, but is risen!” Luke 6:5a-6a
He lives. He lives!! Christ lives today. Smile . And
live into the joy of your resurrected Lord and
Savior.
See you Sunday,
Temple
Beloved Brothers and Sisters
in Christ,
Happy Anniversary!
