•Join with their tutors (through invitation).•See their evolution in several topics•Consult their roadmap in graphical and textual mode.•Publish clinical sessions, critical incidents reports.•Evaluate teaching•Self-evaluate learning•E-learning.•Etc.

•Review the evolution of their residents•Communicate with their residents.•Share workspaces with other tutors.•Self-evaluate teaching process•Etc.

Results: Numbers speaking
•8500 registered users
•60% of active users (before < 6%)

•Number of registered tutors increased 10 times

•Web 2.0 approach definitely improves education management.•Web 2.0 approach increases residents and tutors activity.•Web 2.0 approach makes easier to deal with heterogeneous system
