• Tropical wet or savannah climate.
• Dry season, but rivers and lakes are waterfilled all year.
• Av temp of 18ºC.
• Fertile ground and low altitude.
Etemia
• Dry and arid inland climate.
• Landscape dominated by steppe and desert.
• Temp generally over 10ºC all year. (av.temp of 26ºC.)
• Smaller rivers/lakes dry from Feb-Sep.
Monturia
• Mountainous, lacks arable land.
• Dry with warm summer and cold winter weather.
• Large amounts of snow during the winter (Oct-Jan), with average temp below 0ºC.

Infrastructure General
Gothia´s infrastructure is generally of poor quality, especially in the inlands.
Railway
Non-electrified railway system of poor quality, generally serving the mines in Monturia.
Ports
Developed shipping port in SHYE CITY and a smaller harbour in DAYCOVE.

Infrastructure
Air transportation Air transportation to Gothia is concentrated to the international airport in SHYE CITY. For domestic flights, two major airports are available that have paved landing strips. They are in DAYCOVE and HANOKA For other air operations, dirt landing strips are found in several smaller cities and villages all over Gothia. The conditions of these airports are poor and lack formal Air Traffic Control systems and organization

Monturian Liberation Army (MLA) Leader: Jones Muvuni
Strength: 2000 ( vividly uses Guns for Hire and varies between 1200 and 2000)
Organization: Hierarchical, mainly organized in multifunctional cells that varies between 3-10 people. There are active and passive cells.
Equipment: Light vehicles, horses, rifles, handguns, mortars, RPG’s, IED`s.
Training: The core leadership is assessed to have some military training, common soldier non. Extensive IED training.
Methods: Ambushes. Funded by Ubunia and illegal activity (trafficking, opium production).
AOO: Monturia and western Etemia. Assessed to have active and passive cells in Shye City and Daycove
Safe Havens: Rural Monturia, Ubunia
Costesian Front (CF) Leader: Richard Boromo (former Com Rev Guard)
Strength: Approx. 2500 people including an unknown number of child soldiers
Organization: Groups of 15-30 people operating independently and together within an hierarchical structure – paramilitary structure
Equipment: Light vehicles, horses, rifles, handguns, mortars, RPG’s, IED´s.
Training: The core leadership and the common soldiers are assessed to have some military training - obtained by disbanded Revolutionary Guard.
Methods: Ambushes, ethnic cleansing, sexual violence. Funded by Kaskazinin and PMLG.

Criminal Networks • There are mainly two criminal networks
active in Gothia; Etemian Guards and Brotherhood
• Both of the networks have arise due to the heavy poppy production in the country
• The two criminal networks have close connections to the political level as well as widely spread within the local police
• The majority of the poppy is grown in Etemia, and then smuggled via Monturia to Ubunia or into Costesia
• The total value of the opium industry is estimated to 150-200 million USD – making poppy farming the best valued cash crop in Gothia
ETEMIAN GUARDS AOO: Etemia Activities: Heavily involved in the opium and narcotics production in Etemia. Organization: Mainly consist of corrupt police officers and farmers growing poppy
BROTHERHOOD AOO: Etemia and Monturia Activities: Heavily involved in the opium and narcotics production in Etemia. Collaborates with MLA Organization: Mainly consist of ordinary farmers and their families. Politically affiliated
