ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

It is a great sense of satisfaction that we present our real venture in practical computing in the form of a project work. It is also a matter of privilege and an honor for us to work on the project "Dairy Management system". We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all whom that assisted us during the project.

Certainly the project could not have been completed without the valuable suggestion and guidance from various sources. Our sincere thanks to respected Mrs.Hiral B patel for molding our thoughts and vision towards this project. Very special thanks to the entire professor who helped us to create such a system.

We are very grateful to Ganpat University and to our college Acharya Motibhai Patel Institute of Computer Studies, Kherva in which we are going to submit our project.

With sincere regard from,

PREFACE

Computers have already had considerable impact on aspect of our society. Now a days computer is widely used in field like medicine, Transaction, planning and other.

The field of system programming primarily grew out of the efforts of programmers and managers whose creative energy went in to producing practical utilitarian system programs needed by the rapidly growing computer industry.

This project "Dairy Management System" is system which helps the person who lived on the base of their animal. This system is used to keep large information.

The work assignment to us was to analyze, design and develop system of DAIRY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM .The system is basically do of storing information about the milk storing and selling. Also maintain the info about the suppliers info. The system also maintain the information of daily milk supply and print various reports such as suppliers information reports ,payment sheet reports etc.

The system has been developed as user-friendly. Any person who has very little knowledge about the computer can access the system

Perhaps, our project may contain some errors, please pardon.

ABOUT ORGANIZATION

AITHOR DUDH UTPADAK SAHAKARI MANDALI LTD. is the milk centre. There are different works done by different staff in this dairy. It includes the tasks like maintaining information about the all suppliers, receiving of milk given by all supplier, selling of milk to the different local customers and supplying of milk to the central dairy, receiving of sagardan and selling to the all suppliers. It gives the payment of suppliers for their milk at 10 days interval.

The existing system is computer based but improvement was needed so they decide to implement a new system.

There are following tasks performed by dairy with different staff.

Maintaining information about all suppliers which gives milk in our Dairy timely morning and evening.

Maintaining information about milk receive given by suppliers.

Maintaining information about supplying milk to the central dairy everyday timely morning and evening

Maintaining information about sagardan receiving from central dairy.

Maintaining information about selling sagardan to the suppliers.

EXISTING SYSTEM

AITHOR DUDH UTPADAK SAHAKARI MANDALI LTD. is a milk centre. All records maintain in this dairy by computerized system but its improvement is necessary. The work like receiving of milk, maintaining information about all suppliers, selling of milk, supplying of milk, receiving of sagardan, selling of sagardan to suppliers. And the management cant receive all information properly.

During the study of existing system following points are observed.

1. The current system has not enough facilities to complete all requirements.

2. It can't work on different machine simultaniously.

3. Its difficult to create report for every activity.

Thus, the dairy management needed the new system.

Having such a problem in current system we thought to create a new system which gives facilities to overcome from this problem.

NEED FOR NEW SYSTEM

The existing dairy system is also on the base of computer but it has a problem for creating some operation. The following is the benefits of newly created system.

Provide totally Computerized System.

This system is base on web so it will work as intranet for our dairy system

Generate report for necessary activities.

Maintain the information about Daily Milk Sale.

Maintain the information about Sagardardan sale/Receive.

Provide security for unauthorised user.

New system is user-friendly

Its providing secure information.

( TESTING Testing is the success of the system. System testing is make logical assumption that if the parts of system are correct, the goal will be successfully achieved. This system is tested by following steps and prepared for final implementation. Unit Testing:- In unit testing each & every program is tested individually using dummy records to see weather that program produce satisfied output and validation also. Validation Testing:- In this testing, it will provide all validation such as your data-type must be as per your requirement .you can not insert any other information in number field. System Testing:- Software and hardware are integrated and a full range of system test is conducted in attempt to uncovers at the errors at the software/hardware interface 1 .A good test case is one that has a high probility of finding In this testing2 .A successful tests is one that uncovers all the undiscovered errors. )

POST IMPLEMENTAION REVIEW

After the system is implementation and conversion is complete,

a review the system is conducted by the analysts alike.

The most fundamental concern during post implementation

Review is determine whether the system has met its objective,

That is analysts want to know if the performance level of users has improved and if the system is producing the results intended if neither happening one way question is whether the system can be considered successful

Due to GUI base system it is generally found system that are easy to use and that provide distinct benefits are accepted and well received by people but the GUI base system also found also accessing comparatively.

To evaluate system following question are considered.

How have systems changed the cost of operation?

How have system changed the way in which operation

Are performed?

How have systems changed the time lines of information

And reports.

How have systems changed the completeness of inform-

Action and reports user received?

How have systems changed the number of user?

FUTURE ENHANCEMENT

I think that not a single project is ever considered

As complete forever because our mind is always thinking something new and our necessities also are growing day by day. I always want something more than what I have .our application also, if you see at that first glance than you find it to be complete but I want to make it still mature and fully automatic.

Some of the expansions which we have thought of are.

Now, I feel so much pleasure and get so many ideas about the database management and software engineering and coding

I will develop my system as a big system, contains all transaction in it.

I will put this software for selling in market.

I will put help or suggestion for user, to use this software

I am going to deploying this application as to store little memory.

(Conclusion)

Unsuccessful Software Projects fails in their unique ways, but Successful Projects are alike in many ways.

As, for the proposed system; I have tried my level best, to get the best execution of the system. But, the first version is not the last version, which would be applicable to all development of the system. As proper Enhancement should be done time to time and version of the implemented system should be taken out in order to cop up with the Changing Requirements and difficulties. Same is the case with the proposed system development. I have learned so many things about the live application of the system project.
