AAA-LUX
The AAA-LUX AL series family of floodlights are a true retrofit for existing 2 kW Metal Halide (2.2 kW power dissipation) floodlights. The white light produced by the luminaire gives a daylight perception, which enhances play at all levels.
The Lighting Control Management System (LCMS) can wirelessly switch and dim the luminaires via the proprietary LEDxLINK protocol. In the absence of a LCMS, the luminaires switch on at full power.
Equipped with high-quality LED lamps and optics, the light beams are configured to enable sports fields to be illuminated to the levels dictated by the relevant sports governing bodies. The high-quality optics illuminate the sports fields with excellent uniformity whilst producing minimal stray light.
The integrated electronic power supply has a high efficiency (greater than 95%), and a power factor (PF) above 0.95. With zero inrush current, the electrical installation can be designed at nominal current, saving significant cabling costs in the case of a new build installation.
Boasting a long lifetime and high reliability, all materials used are suitable for outdoor use even in harsh conditions (high temperature versions are available).

Gen6 v Gen5 - Improvements at a glance:
• Market leading weight (22-23kg)- Cost savings by mounting on smaller masts / foundations
• Low profile design results in lower windage• Can be retrofitted on a wider range of masts• Rigid construction increases stability• Simplified aiming with integral aiming system• Modules are locked in position preventing accidental
misalignment during handling• Redesigned heat sink greatly improves heat dissipation• Communicates with 3rd party controllers via API

AAA-LUX light management system
The system can be remotely monitored from a central location via computer. Wireless push button boxes or proximity sensors at entry gates can send information to the control box to activate the lights or alternatively smart devices can be used to give the same control. These signals are fed into the system and will activate the desired pre-programmed lighting scenes. In case of emergency, all lights can be switched to maximum at the central console. The facility manager can analyse the energy consumption of the system, and optimize between lighting level and energy costs. With a remote access module, an installer can access the system and inspect the luminaires and light management system. Based on luminaire data, maintenance can be scheduled.
Lighting control & WS-Series
When different zones of a site require full lighting levels and others need to be dimmed at different times through the dark hours, the dimmed zones can be brought back up to full lighting levels instantly for emergencies or to allow maximum dimming duration between working time of the zones. This saves energy, keeps running costs low and increases the level of site security.
Energy saving - Total-cost-of-ownership
• Dimmed to the right level• Switched on when needed• Short ROI

The AAA-LUX Gen.6 is tested according to ANSI/UL1598 ISTM (In Situ Temperature Measurement. The built-in temperature protection dims the luminaire automatically, based on the ambient temperature. The graph below shows the maximum luminous output for the different products per ambient temperature and wind still weather conditions. When the product is already dimmed with the LCMS control system, the temperature protection dims only when this dim level is lower than the set dim level.

Delivered lumen output and power consumption
Standard:STD luminaires are designed for an average ambient temperature of 30°C. The STD can handle high temperatures up to 40°C although it is recommended to switch to the HT version when, during normal operating hours, the ambient temperature is regularly above 30°C in combination with still winds.
Maximum power:Product is optimised for maximum luminous flux (lm) instead of optimal efficacy (lm/W) and cannot be combined with High Temperature option.
High temperature:Product is designed for high temperature environments and cannot be combined with Maximum Power option.
Lifetime:Can only be assured when the system prohibits the luminaires working during daytime (not designed to operate in full sun load)• All sensitive bolts, nuts, washers and mounting clips are
made of Stainless Steel• Light sources are made of corrosion resistant aluminum
with low copper content
Light spill shield:These shields can be used to further reduce light pollution. They can be placed on the individual light beams of the LED luminaire
Aiming visor:A tool for the installation of the LED luminaire
The Gen6 products are available with various beams to accommodate different areas, mast heights and sports fields. For better light spill control, luminaires can be equipped with light spill caps.
