PRINCIPAL’S REPORT:
Well done to Brittney, Grant, Peta, Izabella and Emily who were at Work Placement in Dubbo last week. Work Placement is compulsory for students who study a VET (vocational education and training) course like Hospitality and Construction. I appreciate the efforts of Mrs Bates and Ms Kerin who assisted with transport and supervision. Last week the staff at YCS participated in Australia's Biggest Morning Tea. We raised over $200. Well done to Mr McLaurin who won the best teapot competition. All parents and carers are invited to to‐night's P&C meeting, held in the school library at 7.30pm.

Our Book Fair raised enough money to buy ap‐proximately $360.00 worth of new books for the library, a wonderful bonus. So, once again, thank you and I hope you and your children thoroughly enjoy reading your books. One more note, please encourage your children to borrow books for the school holidays – hopefully the holidays will be very wet!!
