Oath on Swachh Bharat : [Assembly Hours]
Come and pledge to keep India Clean………..Give your clean choice a loud Voice………
The Oath for cleanliness was solemnized daily in the morning assembly by the respective classes.
Students recited the pledge in unison and implemented it.
Remove of all kind of waste materials : 6th Sept’17
Control your clutter or it will control you…….The best way to get something done is to begin……
Students took the initiative of cleanliness beyond the classrooms, they ensured that every nook and
corner of the school was spic and span.[ Cleaning of Record room, Sports room, Exam room and all
Labs]
Inspection on sanitary facilities : 7th Sept’17
Charity begins at home……………and so does cleanliness……….
The washroom and the sanitary facilities were thoroughly inspected by appointed staff members.
Essay Writing : 8/9/17
The young creative writers penning their thoughts on paper……..
An essay writing was conducted with the aim of spreading the ideologies of Swachh Bharat
Cleanliness Drive among the young minds. Students displayed their literary skills and their very clear
and far sighted vision on this movement was a real eye opener.
Quiz on Cleanliness and Hygiene : 8th Sept’17
Entertaining and yet Informative Quiz on Cleanliness and Hygiene……….
The quiz was aimed at making the students aware and instilling in them a sense of maintaining
hygiene. Students from all the classes enthusiastically participated. The result of the quiz proved that
students are well aware and hygiene conscious. Further curiosities of the students were satisfied by
the organizer of PPT presentation.
Posters and Class Decoration : 9th Sep’17
Budding artists and little Picassos’ with their stroke of Creative brushes…………
Thought provoking slogans, quotations and witty humorous comments were the part of this event.
The posters on Swachhata Awareness compelled the viewers to ‘pause and think’. The classrooms
were adorned with wonderful displays created by our students.
Videos on E-Toilet [Toilet Awareness Day] : 11th Sept’17
Cleanliness and sanitation are integral part of healthy and peaceful living…………………………
The need of the hour is installation of ‘E-Toilet’ in India, because defecation in open is the cause of
various health hazards. The concepts of ‘E-Toilet’ which is successfully implemented in various rural
and urban places emerged as a constructive solution. Since its working is automatic (Sensor based) it
leads to conservation of electricity, water and proves to be best alternative and a tool for sustainable
development.
Personal Hygiene Day : 13th Sept’17
Hygiene is two thirds of health……………………..Much like charity begins at home, sanitation and
hygiene starts with you and me…………
‘While it’s true that you catch more flies with honey, poor personal hygiene attracts more’. To raise
the personal hygiene quotient amongst the students; PPT presentation proved to be highly effective.
It covered various topics such as hand hygiene and dental hygiene etc. The lecture on ‘Adolescence
and puberty’ was highly efficacious. Queries of the students were satisfied by the experts.
Hand Wash Day : 15th Sept’17
Two little hands so clean and so bright, this is my left and that is my right……IGRS supporting Hand
Wash day…….
A captivating performance and an enactment staged by our students, gave the message that hand
washing with soap is a ‘do-it-yours self vaccine’ that prevents infections and curbs many contagious
diseases.
