Adelaide CBD \ Pt Adelaide \ Glenelg - City Day Navigation, Teamwork, Decision making, Community. Choose your own adventure and navigate your way across Adelaide. Will you end up at Glenelg Beach or Pt Adelaide.. You decide!

Water Activities at Wellington Marina Prepare to get soaked! paddle, sail, float, swim! We have it all in store on the beautiful Murray River!

Shooting Range Rifles, Archery, Firearm Safety, Demonstrations, everything that goes 'BANG"!

This year the Jamboree is offering a couple of optional extras!! Do you want to fly a plane? The Air Activities team at AJ2019 is offering flights in 2- seater (side-by-side) motorized gliders. Our pilot will handle the take-off and landing, but during the flight you will have the opportunity to take over the controls of the aircraft, and fly it yourself.

The pilot will provide instruction on controlling the aircraft during the 20-minute flight. See the Jamboree site from a unique point of view

High Octane! Ever wanted to do laps of a real racetrack in a real Racecar? Join us at The Bend during the Jamboree to get on track as a passenger with our team of highly experienced drivers. All the drivers are CAMS licenced and many have championship trophies to prove how quick they are. So… Helmet on, Harness in, ready? & GO - let's see if we can catch that car in front.

These activities incur an additional cost and have additional waivers. Keep an eye on the website for details!

A bit about me!

My Scouting History

Up until recently I have been an Assistant to the Branch Commissioner of Venturers in SouthAustralia with a focus of Major Events. Other roles in Scouting have included Scout and JoeyLeader, Branch Rover Council Chairman and member of the Rover Review ImplementationTeam.

What you do for a living now. In my spare time, I am a High School Physics and Mathematics Teacher in Adelaide and love going on Outdoor Education Camps.

Event experience I have been responsible for major Venturer section events in South Australia for the past 5years. This includes Super Splash and Snow Venture. I have also attended every AustralianJamboree except for AJ2001 in some capacity since attending AJ1998 as a youth member. I have also been involved with several Rover Moots and Ventures

Pastimes or hobbies - Exploring the outdoors

Favourite food - Lamb Curry

Most disgusting food - anchovies

Would you rather? Would you rather be super fast or super strong? I would rather be super fast! Would you rather be invisible or have the ability to fly? Fly! Would you rather eat your boogers or lick your shoe? EEEW!! I will take the boogers... Would you rather have bad breath or smelly feet? Smelly feet every time!

Would you rather go to the beach in the summer or skiing in the winter? Both!

Would you rather be fabulously famous and poor or unknown and rich? Rich!

What you are looking forward to most about AJ2019? Doing SA proud and putting on a rocking AJ
