DEFINITION OF MALNUTRITION
The term malnutrition refers to a pathological
condition caused by lack of intake or
absorption of nutrients
Malnutrition is, according to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the
leading killer of infants and young
children in developing countries
