PURSUANT to the provisions of section 18 of the LocalGovernment (Rating) Ordinance, 1928, notice is hereby g'iventhat the M unicipal Board of K isum u has im posed the followingrates in respect of the year 1953 :-

(1) An original rate of one-half per centum on the unim-provrd value of land as appearing in the Valuation Roll,1952.

(2) An additional rate of one and three-quarter per centumon the unim proved value of land as appearing in theabove-described Valuation Roll.

(3) The above rates shall become due and payable at theofEce of the Town Clerk, K isum u, on the 30th day ofSeptem ber 1953. A discount of two and a half per
