SunTrust Bank, USASunTrust’s digital signage network currently spans 98branches in six states. Large format LCD screens in portraitand three-screen “banner” formats display five contentchannels for dynamic marketing, news and employee education. Additional “drive-thru” kiosks are located outside. 3M’s active monitoring system provides daily tracking and reporting to ensure optimum uptime and issue resolution.

National Bank, CanadaFollowing the installation of large format LCD screens powered by 3M software in 28 retail locations acrossCanada, this national bank has experienced a substantialimprovement in customer satisfaction through a dramaticreduction in customer perceived wait time. Lloyds TSB Bank, UKAs part of a nationwide branch rebranding, Lloyds TSBchose to incorporate digital signage into their new branchdesign to maximise the impact of brand and promotionalmessages. 65" pieces of 3MTM VikuitiTM Rear Projection Filmapplied to exterior windows enable the impactful communication of messages direct to passers-by. 3M software ensures that Lloyds TSB can rapidly changemessages across the whole network at a click of a button.

Regency Duty Free, New ZealandAt Auckland International Airport, 3M Digital Signage software enables duty free promotions to be timed to coincide with the demographics of each flight arrival anddeparture. By varying both the products promoted and the language of each message, digital signage has beenresponsible for an average 19% uplift in sales of promotedcategories. Specialist Schools & Academics Trust, UKA unique digital signage network designed specifically for an educational environment. With an initial phase of 20schools deploying 3M Digital Signage software, large formatscreens have been installed in key locations for maximumvisibility. Content is a collaborative effort between the SSAT,school staff members and the students themselves. Studentcontent illustrates skills learned in digital photography, videoproduction, and other communications classes.

Future Shop, CanadaWith hundreds of electronic displays in every Future Shopstore, digital signage was an obvious solution for in-storemarketing. Over 10 years the network has grown to cover138 locations. All digital displays are networked togetherusing 3M software to be used as advertising media, withcontent controlled and scheduled centrally. Provident Bank, USAWith a network of 77 branches, Provident Bank needed toattract new customers to a broader range of retail productsand realised that effective point-of-sale campaigns couldmake a real impact. AT&T Wireless, USAAs one of the pioneers of digital signage and interactivekiosks, 3M worked with AT&T Wireless to install a networkthat grew from its first installation in 1996 to cover over4,200 kiosks and large format displays in over 900 retaillocations. 3M managed the whole network and delivered animpressive audited uptime of over 99% for all the devicesconnected to AT&T’s digital messaging system.

3M European Distribution Centre, UKEfficient and effective management systems are key to distributing products to 3M’s clients on time. The recentintroduction of a live 3M Digital Signage solution has allowedSite Managers to display key performance informationdirectly to the warehouse floor. Three channels of data arefed to three large format plasma screens strategicallyplaced in each of the main warehouse areas. The information shown is a mixture of space availability, outstanding picks for the day, safety data and claims data.

Hotel chain, USAThe hotel wanted to increase traffic to their coffee shop andrestaurant. North American Funding, USAThis company successfully launched an in-office networkfunded almost entirely by selling screen sponsorships totheir mortgage partners. 70% of screen time and space isdevoted to ads from mortgage sponsors. The large formatplasmas placed throughout the office environment also provide corporate information and event details, as well asheadline news.
