• Purpose - to substantiate and evidence information

presented in Self-Assessment Report

• During visit, the GAC team:

– Verifies Self-Assessment Report

– Interacts with program’s students, faculty and administrators

After Self-Assessment Report is approved by GAC Directors, Onsite Visit is scheduled

Program submits $2000 USD Onsite Visit Evaluation Fee

2 to 3 day onsite visit, by a team of 2-3 members

Team forwards report to applicant program for correction of any factual errors verifies

Team submits report with recommendations to GAC Directors

• GAC Directors evaluate at next scheduled meeting

• Based on previous 3 pieces of collected evidence

• Decision to confer, defer or deny

• 5-year maximum

GAC Continuing Accreditation Requirements

Annual Requirements:

• Submit an annual GAC accredited program report

– Highlights of changes/improvement to the program since the

prior report

– Assessment of Anticipated Outcomes for the previous year

– Detailed additions/deletions of faculty/staff

• Submission of $2000 USD Accreditation Maintenance Fee
