WelcomeWelcome to the 16th annual Pawleys Island Wine and Food Gala.Thanks to the hard work of a lot of committee members and volunteers, you have the opportunity to taste over 100 wonderful wines and cordials, while enjoying the beauty of the Reserve Golf Club and the bounty of delectable hors d’oeuvres presented by our gracious and talented food vendors.

All the proceeds from this magical evening will benefit the Pawleys Island Festival of Music and Art. So, please take a minute to check out the fabulous vacations, jewelry, art and other items being offered in the Silent Auction.

And, remember that none of this would be possible without the generous support of the wine distributors and vintners you see here tonight. Not only do they provide us with all these wonderful wines for tonight, they also give you the opportunity to order your favorites at a very special gala price. Fruit for this wine was grown in our low yielding Firepeak hillside blocks and produced from Swan and Dijon Clones 945 and 667. The aromas in this wine are complex and layered; mocha, cinnamon, dark red fruit, hazelnut, red licorice, earth and mushroom. This follows onto the palate, along with the brighter red fruit flavors and a note of candied red apple. The tannins are silky, and the medium-full body nicely compliments the supple mouthfeel.
