STUDENT WELLNESS COMPLEX Friday: 6:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.; Saturday/Sunday: 9 a.m. – 10 p.m. Building 61

Wellness Complex class schedule available at Registration/Check-In. All Family Weekend participants must wear their name tag and the waiver wrist band for free access to the facility. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parents at all times and will have access only to the Osprey Cliff and fitness classes on the first level, excluding Spinning. Use of the second and third level fitness areas is not permitted for children under the age of 18. Age guidelines will be enforced.

WALKING TOUR: FROM SENECA TO SELMA TO STONEWALL 2 p.m., 4 p.m.

Tour meets in Student Union Plaza, Building 58

Join the UNF LGBT Resource Center staff for a 30 minute walking tour of its special Diversity exhibit,

curated by the Stonewall National Museum and Archives and hosted in celebration of LGBT History Month. The exhibit images anchor on President Obama’s acknowledgement of Seneca Falls, Selma (Alabama) and Stonewall (New York City) as three historical sites of efforts for civil rights and equality.

Join student volunteers on a tour of UNF’s organic gardens which boosts a wide variety of fruit trees, raised vegetable beds and row crops. Educational programs strive to promote student health and sustainable food systems through organic gardening.

On Fertile Ground: The Wing Lee Yuen Truck Farm, is a series of photographs that chronicles memories in a poignant tribute to what was once one of the largest sites in the country

for the production and shipping of Chinese fruits and vegetables. This farm was founded by three brothers, one of whom was Jung Fie Ng, the artist’s grandfather, in the 1940s.

This walk will take you a quarter-mile around Lake Oneida and will explore up to five fresh water habitats. Bring water, closed-toe shoes and dress for the weather.

Dr. Quincy Gibson, lead biologist for the UNF’s dolphin research program will help you decide if complicated relationships of dolphins could be a reality show or a soap opera. The Parent Association Book Scholarship drawing will take place – you must be present to win. Preview Silent Auction items and decide what to bid on at dinner.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY SERVICE PROJECT 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., 1-3 p.m.

The UNF Ogier Gardens

Join millions of volunteers in the largest national day of community service. Activities include a tour, weeding, planting, mulching, propagating, seeding, and garden beautification. Closed-toed shoes are highly recommended. Sunscreen, water, and gloves will be provided. Sign-up is limited to twelve participants due to space, please register in advance. THE AMAZING CRAZY OZZIE CHALLENGE 11 a.m., 11:50 a.m., 12:40 p.m.

Teams of up to six family members compete for prizes in this amazing race across campus. This event requires advance registration and is limited to 15 teams. There are three fifty minute timeframes to choose from. Sign up early –spots will go quickly! This event features Dr. Jason Lee’s Sports Marketing class and the UNF Swoop Squad.

Through song, poetry, and other liturgy of different faiths and traditions, together we will mark this important passage in life—when young adults leave home and embark on the sacred journey of discerning their vocational callings, unique identities, and adult values.
