Healthy Lifestyles
Try a new sport or outdoor activity
Keep a food diary for a week. Are you surprised about what you ear? Are there ways you could eat more healthily
Show each week at your unit meeting that you have taken the trouble to look clean, neat & suitably dressed
Aim: To encourage Guides to lead a healthy lifestyle by promoting physical, emotional & spiritual well-being
Global Awareness
Find out what WAGGGS is and how many countries are members
Make a poster showing the things Guides around the world have in common
Watch the news & be able to talk about a news story happening in another country
Aim: To increase awareness of global issues and of the contribution each Guide can make
Discovery
Make a timeline of your life, including important moments and things you would like to happen in the future
Take part in an activity or craft with your unit that you have never tried before
Learn something interesting about each member of your Patrol
Aim: To challenge Guides with new experiences and adventure
Skills & Relationships
Join in making decisions with your Patrol at a Patrol meeting or discussion
Know how to call the emergency services & what information to give
Take part in an activity with your unit using a skill which is new to you
Aim: To develop Guides self-confidence & to improve their interpersonal and life skills
