DRAFTING AND DESIGN
8
E a c h student at Linn Technical Junior College knows that successful completion of the Drafting and Design curriculum will mean a technicians job in industry.
The Drafting and Design student works for proficiency in orthographic projections, isomet ric drawings, exploded parts views, and pictorials. He must have a knowledge of drafting and reproductive materials and of new drafting media.
At Linn Technical Junior College the Drafting and Design student works hard. He has to--there's ajobwaitingforhim if he succeeds.

AUTO SCIENCE
Servicing today's high performance automobiles is more than an occupation: it is a SCIENCE.
The autom obile industry is constantly seeking mechanics who possess a thorough knowledge of the complexities of the modern automobile.
At Linn Technical Junior College, the student mechanic learns the skills necessary to service the automobiles of today.

The Auto Science Division of
Linn Technical Junior College an
nually receives equipment donations
from the Ford Motor Company and
General Motors Corporation. This
year Linn Tech received a compli
mentary rear axle, transmission,
and diesel engine.
All equipment received from
these two leaders in the automotive
industry is used for instructional
purposes.
ELECTRONICS
Taking his place between the engineer and the skilled craftsman, the electronics graduate of Linn Technical Junior College is able to build, test, and recommend design changes in electronic equipment.
While at Linn, the student
spends half of his time studying theory and half working on actual equipment. Because stress in the laboratory is placed on "trouble shooting", the student uses testing devices and methods which are similar to those used in industry.
