CA Panvalet Provides Centralized Library ManagementCA Panvalet is a leading product in the area of library management. It centralizes the storage

of an application’s source, JCL, and/or object modules. Programmers can benefit from memblock, a compare program and a comprehensive directory. Managers can benefit from access

controls, extensive reporting, archival procedures and efficient DASD utilization.

Key Capabilities

CA Panvalet provides:

• Controlled access to individual programs

• Absolute protection for members in production status

• Automatic maintenance of modification level numbers

• User ID, date and time of last update, maintained for each member

Key Options

Several options for CA Panvalet enhance the functionality and productivity of staff that work

with the different types of data that can be stored in a CA Panvalet library. The base product

tape contains CA Panvalet® for z/OS, CA Panvalet® ISPF Option (z/OS), and CA Panvalet®

TSO Option (z/OS).

What’s New in CA Panvalet  r14.5

CA Panvalet r14.5 retains all the base functionality of previous releases and contains the

following enhancements:

• Multiple product Options distributed on a single tape

• Library release level will state r14.5 if upgraded

• When restoring all members, restored or replaced will be displayed

• Pan#7 now has a wildcard capability
