The Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital

Home Base Program is an initiative supported by

philanthropy that serves New England by identifying, motivating, and treating veterans and families

impacted by the invisible wounds of war.

The Home Base Program serves as a successful model for private-public

collaboration; a source of new communication and education; and a leader in finding and implementing new treatments for combat-related stress disorders and traumatic brain

injury (TBI).

Mission, Organizations & Services

Our ServicesThe program consists of a team of veterans, physical medicine and behavioral

health clinicians, educators and researchers.

The program provides clinical treatment for veterans;

support services to veterans’ families; offers educational courses and materials for

health care providers and the public; and brings together

world-class researchers seeking medical

breakthroughs in the prevention, diagnosis and

treatment of traumatic brain injury and combat stress-

related disorders.

Run to Home Base FactsThe Run to Home Base is a unique 9K fundraising run through scenic Boston ending with an unforgettable experience of crossing “home base” (plate) at historic Fenway Park.

• Date: Sunday, May 22, 2011

• Route: Scenic 9K run through Boston starting and finishing at America’s Most Beloved Ballpark

• Runners: 3,000 including military • Audience: 15,000+ friends and family can watch

thousands of participants from the stands at Fenway

• Activities: The day also includes food, entertainment, a military appreciation area and fun family activities in the concourses at Fenway Park.

Based on your level of sponsorship, your company will:

• Receive high visibility before the event and on Race day

• Reach a targeted market of more than 15,000 on one day

•Pre-race promotion begins on Saturday, December 11, 2010
