Join us on April 1st for the EDD Memorial Fund Dream Big 5K, an adaptive 5K and Fun Run for folks of all ages and abilities. The Dream Big 5K: Run, Walk and Roll is a project in partnership with the Essex Town School District. Will you join our team of sponsors and show your support for athletes of all abilities? All proceeds from the Dream Big 5K will be donated to the EDD Memorial Fund to support adaptive sports programs in the community. The EDD Memorial Fund offers free basketball and soccer programs to local children and young adults with any type of disability. Student athletes from St. Michael’s College and Castleton University volunteer to lead these programs.
We have long dreamed of an adaptive 5K road race, both to build support in the community and offer a new sport to our athletes. With the generous support of our sponsors, this is the year that we are making the Dream Big 5K a reality. We hope that you will join us as a race sponsor! The Eric D. Dettenrieder Memorial Fund (EDD) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides sports and recreation to young people with disabilities. More than 3,200 handicapable young people have played sports with us in the last 19 years.
