Going or staying?Thousands of people ask this question in
Serbia and Hungary as well. It’s not a new process it was the same in 20
as well as in 120 years ago but the reasons and the effects are changing.
What are the main reasons and who is affected by? Reasons:
• Better standard of living• Professional challenge• Opportunity for studies• Political reasons• Family relationships• Love
Affected people:• Generation of 20-35 years old • Skilled workers• People with good language skills• Members of national minorities• Graduated people
Project VoV destinations:
Appearance of re-migration next to the emigration.
We have no influence for the emigration though we can help
the re-migration.
Build a system which can help to keep the contact with emigrants.

Why is Project VoV important for a regional planner
organisation?
• Migrants can help gladly for free• Migrants’ opinions are accepted by the
community.• They can easily compare their former and
current town• They can recognise developing opportunities.
• More and more settlements suffer from the lack of youth and lack of knowledge because of the migration.
• There is no effective bottom up policy in these settlements.
• Building for the knowledge of migrants would be very useful.
.
Why is project VoV good for the migrants?
• Strengthen emotional connections between migrants and settlements.
• Settlement considers migrants as a partner.
• Migrants can help their hometown with their knowledge and experience.
• Hometown can give information for the migrants while keep contact with them.
• Remain the opportunity of re-migration
