Travel can also includerelatively short stays between successivemovements.

In English we still occasionally use the words travail and travails, which mean struggle

Earlier from Old French travailler(which means to

work strenuously, toil).

It also states that the word comes from

Middle English travailen, travelen(which means to

torment, labor, strive, journey)

The term "travel" may originate from the Old French word

Most of its territory includes elevations ranging from 1500 meters

above sea level to about 6310 meters from the Chimborazo.

These Islands were named Mankind Natural Patrimony by the UNESCO in 1979.
