in line with the development of science and technology Industrial Electronic Symposium in 2016 as a forum to present the results of research and development in the field of electronics within the scope of the industry. On the other hand the challenges ahead to accelerate process technology development which is the vision of the symposium is to present the workshop with the topic of robotics, engineering education, and environmental.
Robotics workshop aims to accelerate the development of science and technology related to the humanoid robot. In this workshop discussed the situation technological developments and challenges in the development of humanoid robots in Indonesia.

Technology (TUT), from KEIO University, National Advanced Institute of Technology, Okayama University Japan, NTUST Taiwan,
Pusan National University of South Korea, we held an international symposium in the field of
electronics (IES 2016) IES 2016 held a conference and workshop
program which will be followed by researchers from almost all universities in Indonesia and the International researchers such as Japan, Korea,
China, Germany, and America. Presented the results of their present development of science and technology that has been achieved. Also in
2016 IES is we present programs such as workshops, development of humanoid robot
technology, knowledge engineering, engineering education, and biomedical image processing. Program workshop attended by researchers, educators, and students from
universities in Indonesia who are interested to collaborate in research and cooperation for the
development of knowledge and technology.

IntroductionHumanoidarestilllotofchallengesfortheresearchersdynamicmotionplanning,control,perception,andmissionoperations.Manyresearcherswhohavecontributedtosolvingtheproblemsintherespectivefields.Theworkshopaimstopromotethetopicbydiscussanddemonstrateaboutthecurrentdevelopmentofhumanoidrobots,especiallyinIndonesia.Topicsofdiscussionregardingthedevelopmentofhardware(sensors,actuators,androbotdesign)andsoftware(control,planning,estimation,interface)forthedevelopmentofhumanoidrobots.
Humanoidsarecapableofincrediblysophisticatedmotion,perception,andinteractionwiththeirenvironments.Theyarealsowell-suitedforexecutingcomplextasksinconstrained,human-engineeredenvironmentswithapplicationsasroboticco-workers,servicerobots,andavatarsforhumanresponseforcesfordisasterrecovery.TherecentDARPARoboticsChallenge(DRC)wasadramaticdemonstrationofthestate-of-the-artofhumanoidsinthelastcategory.
TheworkshopaimsatbringingtogetherresearchersfromtheKRSBI(KontesRobotSepakBolaIndonesia)andRoboticcommunities,aswellasotherresearchersinterestedinthesubject.Theprogramconsistsofinvitedtalks,contributedpresentations,andapaneldiscussion.
