What is Tissue Banking and Storage Fee’s? • Tissue Banking‐ The location of where the patient’s frozen eggs or sperm will be stored, in a bank or in a patient’s chart.
• Storage Fee’s‐ The amount a patient is billed for storing their frozen eggs or sperm.
Storage Banking• Bank contains all Oocytes/Embryos that are transferred to bank• This is mainly used for those that have a commercial egg bank program
Patient Storage• Patient contains all Oocytes/Embryos that are frozen in the program‐excludes Bank entries
• Generally same as a traditional tank management system
Fee Options• Monthly‐ Cryo date 8/25/15 then bill 9/24/15• Quarterly‐ Cryo date 8/25/15 then bill 11/24/15• Annually‐ Cryo date 8/25/15 then bill 8/22/16
Billing Portal• Billing Customers• Displays Balance• Gives patient ability to use PayJunction to make online payments.
Configuration Options• Fee‐ Sets fixed rate to automatically populate in Storage Billing screen• Duration‐ Sets the amount of days to bill• Due‐ Sets the bill date to be on the date or last day of the month.
Example: Center is billing patient for $114 every 30 days and will be due on the last day of the month.
CPT Configuration • Add the CPT Code that fits description of service you want to display on Encounter screen
SMS Configuration• Set fixed message to be sent to patient via text or email to view in New
Patient Portal.
