Social Reforms in Engineering

Prepared By:Angad Kumar Baranwal,B-Tech (ECE),PRIST University,Thanjavur-613403

• Technology has thepotential to improve theEfficacy, Efficiency andGrowth of the nation andthe people.

• The main objective of thesocial reforms is to providean important platform toshowcase the Innovativeideas and Talent.

Introduction:

Engineers from around

the world whose effort

may make great

development in

engineering education

and newly graduated

Engineers

Tips & Motivation

• To connect globally

• To build an International

Engineers network with

Diversity.

• To connect with the global

players in Engineering

(Industries, Organizations etc.)

Why do we need to Develop it?

Prevent from Unexpected Event

Earthquake

Lava Tsunami

Outcomes

Dialogue and partnership Future engineering students

Learn new concepts Think outside the box

Challenges

• Enhance student interest into Engineering• Increase visibility and importance of Engineering to

the Society• Enhancement of Virtual Reality

• Place of World class Educational hub

• Place of Innovators • Place of Discoverers

Maintain Stability, Standard and Scalability

How does It Help?

• Society

• Resources

• Events & Guidance

Innovation to Reform

In India, from scientist to

students all are taking about

Innovation but still we are on 64th

position of Global Innovation Index.

Gap between Industries

and Institutions

• Education should be like Entry card

• Both should have to work for each other

• Students should have to placed then only they may do some more things for society.

Observations of the Curriculum

• Universality of the Syllabus & Curriculum.

• Try to embed new themes in the existing curriculum, Rather than starting new courses.

• The current engineering curriculum is jam-packed and it is not co-related with Real Time Application.

Supports to the Future Creator

“Don’t judge a book by its Cover”

Yoga and Meditation

• To maintain fitness.

• To make Physically trained.

• To make Mentally trained.

“Imagination is more important than Knowledge”

To achieve Goal: Think and Similarly Work

Assumption about Engineering : Beyond the Academy

• Education → Graduate Attributes: the presumption that we know how to adjust education in order to enable students to acquire desirable attributes by the time they graduate.

• Graduate Attributes → Engineering Practice: the presumption that we know the influence of graduate attributes on engineering practice, and hence which attributes are relevant and if so, whether essential or desirable.

• Engineering Practice → Social Benefits: the presumption that we know how engineering practice results in desirable net social benefits, and how this will happen in future.

How do we do it?

Conclusion

The rapid development of social reforms for the country like India may generate considerable excitement in the form of world class educational hub, and the growth of the nation.

Thank youfor your beloved Co-operation !!!
