Types of Point of View

1.First Person - it is told by one of the characters in the

story who uses the pronouns “I”, “me”, “we” and “us”

2. Third Person- an outside narrator is telling the story;

uses the pronouns “he”, “she”, “they”.

a.Third- Person Omniscient - the narrator is “all-knowing” and able to see into the minds of ALL characters.

b.Third-Person Limited - the narrator perceives events only as

an observer or only through the eyes of ONE character.
