Comments – Most PAL are illiterate , so they are not ready for Vocational Training. Their children are educated and going for Vocational Training.

Problems & Obstacles

Problem Action taken

Lack of supervision & monitoring in PAL Home by the facilitator.

Discussed with SLO, they asked issue a letter to facilitator for supervision and monitoring in PAL homes and report sent with MPR

District Jamtara & Ramgarh, Society fund is available for MCR but not provided till date.

Discussed with facilitator /DLO in the State level meeting on 29.5.10 and asked MCR provided to PAL., result- awaiting.

Healthy persons creating problem in education support. They want the same facilities to their children as well.

Discussion in Review meeting.

Suggestions

• For education support , formation of a committee in PAL home

which will decide that which student needs education support from

NLR-F.

• A part time teacher to be given in each PAL home for evening

session.

• Dressing materials, Ointment, Medicines should be available in

each PAL home.

• MCR Chappal should be available to all PAL.

• Financing Loan / Bakri Palan Loan should be given to PAL for trial

and experiences.

School dress , Books, Note books & Slate provided by NLR-F at Bokaro

School dress provided to children at Bijulia PAL home , Ramgarh by NLR-F.

Shambhu Mahto S/O Adhni Mahtain, Nilmohan Mahto –Indira Colony Ranchi, studying in Class XI supported by NLR-F.

Jhantu Dhobi , Lakhi Dhobin D/O Mochi Ram Dhobi/ Jatri Dhobin- Nirmala Colony, Ranchi getting education support from NLR-F.

Basir Raj, Karisma Aajmi C/O Chand Bano /Md.Safik Asha Dan PAL Home, Bokaro , getting education

support with NLR-F and they asked for more support.
