Poetry 20+ was Teesside Poetry Group formed on the 23rd of May 1962, chaired by local historian, teacher and poet - Mary Williams, until her death in December 1989. Mary lived on the coast in Marske but the meetings were held variously at Acklam Library or the Leeds University Centre, Harrow Road in Middlesbrough. It was one of the earliest writers groups in the Tees area, at least in modern times. The group put out annual anthologies and these later ones from the 1980's are held in the archives of Outlet magazine and on here to share with anyone interested.
