Managing multiple discipline contractors in the installation of Fire Alarm Systems, Gas Suppression, CCTV and Public Address including Access Door and Air Horn
1. Ensuring all items and devices are installed in accordance to the contractual agreement and Bill of Quantity
2. Supervising Site Team which consists of Engineers and Supervisor, QA QC Officer, ESH Officer, Planner and Supervisor, Turn Over Engineer including 26 Semi Skill workers at Site
3. Ensuring quality of work meets Oil and Gas Installation requirement under Electrical and Instrumentation Standards under BASF, Petronas and Fluor Corporation
4. All installation is in accordance to Schematic, Technical and Issued For Construction (IFC) drawings
5. All technical specifications including construction materials types, cables and devices are followed as per the contracts and any introduction of new items shall be upon the approval of the client before proceeding to purchasing and installation at site.
6. To monitor work progress physically to ensure Mechanical Completion Target Date can be achieved
7. To work closely with planner on progress monitoring via site inspection as well report to the client.
8. To coordinate with all Main Contractors in Contractors Coordination Meeting to ensure client requirements are met, minimizing work interference on site as well as addressing work hazards by working closely together.
9. To ensure all construction materials are readily available at site, ready for installation and coordinate with all contractors on materials status as well as construction issues at site.
10. Attend to weekly meeting with Clients and report Site Team Weekly Progress
11. Safety is Top Priority: Work closely with Safety Officer and Safety Supervisor to ensure workers safety are met and PPE equipped
12. Work closely with Safety Officer to ensure all Job Safety Analysis (JSA) have identified all hazards and risk while performing work especially when working at height (WAH) and confined spaces
13. To ensure Safe Work Practice on site via work execution, JSA and Safety Task Assignment during work on site
14. To work closely with Quality Engineers / Inspectors to ensure installation are top notch and following Oil and Gas Standards
15. To coordinate for storage, quality checks, permit issuance, transportation, lifting works either Crane or Sky lift, Boom lift or Scissor lift while working on site.
