Reading the First Testament, it becomes evident that no one can actually "see" God in any of its
passages. There are accounts of God's voice, instructions, and command-ments, but there are no instances of anybody seeing God face-to-face. Today's first reading, for instance, recounts the meeting of the Lord with Moses at Mount Sinai where God reveals his name, "The lord, a merciful and gra-cious God...." (Exodus 34:6). In the New Testament, God makes himself known through Jesus, his only son, who reveals the fullness of the Father and through whom we receive the fullness of eternal life by the Holy Spirit. In this great solemnity of the Holy Trinity, we celebrate God's merciful love for all of us. Today, God draws us to him, asking us to love our brothers and sisters and to overcome our differences and disagreements. The Blessed Trinity is a communion of love that can inspire us to build communion at home, in our communities, and in the world. This week, ask about the situations in which you have witnessed the Trinitarian communion at work. Where have you seen Trinitarian love in your lives? These and other related questions can serve to inspire a sincere dialogue between ministers and the community.

Weekend Mass Change To ensure that Father stay in compliance with not exceeding 3 Masses in
one day, the 7:30 AM Mass has been removed. He will still celebrate the
5:15 pm on Saturday and the 9:00 am, 11:00 am and the 7:00 pm Masses.
From the Desk of Father Kurt
This Sunday the Church celebrates the Holy Trinity, One God in three persons.
When Saint Pope John Paul II visited Mexico for the first time, he addressed the people of Puebla with these words, “God is a family. We have a God that reveals himself to us not as some militant figurehead but as a loving relationship of persons.” In the Doctrine of the Holy Trinity, we can find a beautiful theology of the Sacrament of Marriage. Just as God is a relationship of persons but yet one, so are a man and woman two persons yet come together to form a permanent union that bonds them together and is open to new life. In the Holy Trinity, God the Father loves the Son and the Son loves the Father and that union of love is the Holy Spirit. In Holy Matrimony the husband and wife come together as a sacramental expression of God’s love, which is open to the possibility of the new life that may be generated from that love, and so comes the Church’s teaching on human sexuality. Human sexuality is a sacramental expression of God himself, which means is it both an expression of love and open to new life. Therefore all sexual expressions of love need to be safe guarded in the bond of marriage in order to preserve their God given dignity. The idea that we can determine for ourselves alternative meanings to human sexual expression have led to the very undermining of human life itself, and the dignity and sanctity of what it means to be a child of God.

9:00 AM Parking Lot Mass Attendance Many of our 65 or older parishioners or those who have compromised health who don't feel comfortable being part of larger crowds just yet, have asked if Father would bring Jesus to them in the parking lot. So during the 9:00 AM Mass, two Eucharistic Ministers will bring Jesus to those who turn on their headlights in the Fountain Lake Parking Lot only (Parking Lot located on the parish office side!). If we notice that the lot is getting too full, we'll have to see about expanding to another lot for future Masses! We're doing our best to try and bring Jesus to as many of our parish family as possible. Please help us spread the word to those who may not have access to emails, texts, internet, facebook or our website!
