SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTUREIt can be defined as the adoption of

various farming and production management techniques to maximize agricultural yield.

ORGANIC FARMING It is the cultivation of crops without

the use of chemicals- insecticides, pesticides and herbicides.

CROP SEASONSDifferent crops requires different

climatic conditions, temperature and photoperiod.

In India, there are two main seasons of crop growth.

Kharif crops- Crops which are grown from June to October.

Rabi crops- Crops which are grown from November to April.

MANURES It is partialy decomposed organic

matter derrived from plants and animals.
