Step1:ConfiguretheZ3weightindicatorforusewiththeRD3RepeaterIndicator

TheZ3indicatorisfactory-configuredforusingaPR4modelprinter.ForconnectittoRD3RepeaterIndicator,youneedtofirstchangethisconfigurationbeforeitsuse,followingtheindicationscontainedinthisdocument.Oncethisprocedurehasbeencompleted,theconfigurationisregisteredintheunit’snon-volatilememoryanditwillnotbenecessarytorepeatit.

Presskey[M/BG]toaccesstheconfigurationoptionsmenu.

1. PresskeyàtomovetotherS232menuoption.

2. Presskey¿tovalidate.ThevisorwilldisplaythebAudroption. 3. PresskeyàrepeatedlytomoveforwardtotheFOrNoptionandpresskey¿toaccessthissubmenuofoptions.

4. Presskeyàrepeatedlytomoveforwardtotherd3optionandpresskey¿tovalidate.5. ThevisorwilldisplaytheSAvEmessage,indicatingthattheselectedoptionhasbeensavedtotheindicator’snon-volatile

memory.6. Press theESC key repeatedly to exit the configuration optionsmenu and return to normal operatingmode (weight

indicator).
