What do you think?Learning Business

English is serious business.

Business English teachers should master the subjects they are teaching.

“Chalk and Talk” is the most efficient way to teach Business English.

The most important thing about Business English is vocabulary.

There is no right or wrong way to teach Business English.

What does “learning” mean?

To learn or not to learn…“To learn is to increase your capacity to

accomplish what you desire, and in order to do so, you need to become aware of what you don’t know. You must know that there is a gap between what you want to accomplish and what you can. Then you must be willing to declare your inability to close that gap. You must always make that declaration to yourself and also to others. Then you have to make the commitment to learn.”

Freedy Kofman (Metamanagement)

Learning steps: Become aware of what “I don’t know”.Be willing to admit it to yourself and others.Commit to learn.

Freddy Kofman (Metamanagement)

Becoming a better leader…Look at the word TEACHER. Can

you find a better job title to describe your job?

E.g.:

• Real language: UMM stands for U_________, M_________& M___________

• You can’t connect the dots looking_______,

you can only do it looking__________• The three “learning steps” are:

a)___________b)___________

c) ___________

And remember…There’s no failure,

there’s only feedback. Don’t be afraid to try new things!
