• Create a new map

• Right side - represents the BCA deck

• Helpful to split the deck so that different zoom percentages can be used

• Add source rack and destination racks

• Select source rack and destination racks

• One source rack and one destination rack have been added

• Adjust zoom so that source wells and destination wells are easily seen

•Left mouse button magnifies

•Right mouse button demagnifies

• Zoom has been optimized

• Aspirate four wells from source plate and place into wells of destination rack

• Click on four wells of interest in source plate

• Drag individual source wells to well of choice in destination rack

• Aspirate many (in box) wells from source plate and place into wells of destination rack

• Choose number of replicates in the column and row direction

•Click wells in source plate in box format

•Drag box of wells from source rack and place in destination rack in desired location

•Distinguish replicates by color

•To use the Rule based mapping first select a box of wells

•Then click Rule based mapping icon in toolbar.

•Select destination rack

•Input replicates and number loops

•Fills destination wells from left to right starting with the top row

• File Test.map has been saved and now can be used in the test to make the array

• In BC Table

• Create new test

•On Rack definition tab use position map

•Select Test.map

• Notice the Source Rack and Destination rack are filled in

•Continue to create the test and run test
