COMMUNICATION Communication is much more than just talking.

It is the activity of conveying information through the exchange of thoughts, messages, or information, as by speech, visuals, signals, writing, or behavior.

SCIENCE COMMUNICATION Scientist are willing to share their knowledge and this is great. However, sometimes

they just see one way of sharing it... and this is the same way as they got to it. They expect the others to like and to feel comfortable with the same path they have

travelled.

HYBRIDIZATION Communication is a transdisciplinary activity, therefore using the potential of different

knowledge areas can gives us better results.

OUR INGREDIENTS We like to mix science with technology, arts, design and audiovisuals... But we are sure

you can also mix it with history, socials issues, sports and much more!

BEYOND THE CONTENTS If you want to be effective in hybridization, don’t look just for content. Go deeper! The framework and the mindsets of each discipline are as important as the content!

SCIENCE/MATHS • Scientific method • Complexity • Geometry

Hypothesis Iteration Communication Experimentation Refutation

Rotation Simetric Oposite Translation Multiplication

DESIGN • Design thinking • Co-design • User based design • Metadesign

Empathy Prototips Test Definition Ideation

ARTS • Visual arts • Scenic arts

Creativity Criticism Generation Translation Improvisation

TECHNOLOGY • Digital tools • Social networks • 2.0 paradigm

PEOPLE

PARTICIPATION If we want to communicate... we need someone else... Who are these people? How

do we include them? How do we get a dialogue and not a monologue?

WHY? Why do we do all this?

Because we want to contribute to the Future! We want to light it up! We want to empower people and listen to them!

SCIENCE OF THE CITY Science, multi-cultures, urbanism, design, audiovisuals, arts, exhibition...

Active participation in different levels and ways Listening to citizens questions and proposals
