AKSHAYA TRITIYA
The day of awakening the consciousness
of abundance
Akshaya means never diminishing.
Many things happened on this day:
Draupadi was given Akshaya Patra
(bowl) by Krishna which supplied
unlimited food; Kubera, treasurer of
gods, prayed to Lakshmi, goddess of
wealth, to fill his treasury;
Parashurama, the sixth incarnation of
Vishnu, was born; Satya yuga ended
and Treta yuga began; the Ganga
descended from Heaven; Ved Vyasa
and Ganesha began writing the epic
Mahabharata; and Sudama, the poor
friend of Krishna, came to Dwarka to
ask for help. In return for a handful of
beaten rice, Krishna gave immense
wealth to Sudama. Gates of the Badrinarayana temple open on
this day.
Construction of chariots for the Jagannath rath yatra at Puri
commences. Jains observe fast and break it with sugarcane juice
as king-turned-monk Rishabhdeva was offered sugarcane juice
after an year-long fast. So the belief is that worshipping Lakshmi-
Kubera, buying gold and silver ornaments, investing money in
shares and real estate, buying household things, ploughing land,
writing new account books – will all bring prosperity. Abundance
comes when one aligns with one's centre of consciousness where
there is no anxiety and fear and where the ignorance melts down
to wisdom and where sleeping consciousness becomes wakeful!

Movement of the Hara Energy and Its Effects
by Ellaenah
Greetings of light and joy! You have now learnt about the Hara. You have now learnt why
the consciousness of the Hara is so important to you. But let us explain to you how this
energy moves within your body and what it does to you and for you as it moves within your
body. If you know how beneficial the energy of the Hara region is, you will strive even
harder to activate this consciousness within you. You may never choose to create anything,
but that is not the only purpose of Hara consciousness. It has many, many benefits.
So let us understand the movement of this energy within you. This energy, like all other
energies that run within you, moves in a straight line, vertical line. It draws its energy from
the energy of Gaia, which you now know is not the energy of the physical earth, but is the
energy of the higher aspect of earth herself. So the energy of Hara consciousness is, in
reality, rooted in Gaia herself and thus, you are in a most direct manner, attached to Gaia,
like the umbilical attaches the baby to the mother. The difference is, this umbilical cord
between you and Gaia is never severed. Not even when the physical body disintegrates.
From this Gaia energy flows the energy that you now call the energy of Hara consciousness.
It first flows into the lower part of your belly, into that chakra which is the sacral chakra. As
the Hara consciousness reaches refinement in its energy, it then flows not into the sacral
chakra, but into the activated Joy chakra. From here, the Hara consciousness energy rises
upwards in a straight line, going to the Higher Heart chakra. From there, it moves again in a
straight line and finds its second root at the base of the skull. We call this the second root,
for it is from this point that the consciousness of Shiva enters the human energy system.
And just like the Gaia consciousness energy flows upward as Hara consciousness energy, the
Shiva consciousness energy flows downwards as Hara consciousness energy.
Though you have been told that your abdomen is the Hara region, and though this could be
interpreted in this manner, the true Hara energy resides even outside your auric field. It is
not even part of your auric field. It is certainly not part of your chakric system. It lies outside
the auric field. But in order to understand it in physical terms, this vertical representation
that we have given you is more than adequate.
Hara consciousness resides in the auric field only when the human embodied form wilfully,
of its own volition, desires to transform itself from human consciousness to divine
consciousness. When that intent is strongly made and acted upon, the Hara consciousness
energy that dwells beyond the auric field, gently begins to impregnate the auric field and
the chakric system. As soon as this impregnation begins, the human form is compelled to let
go of those energies which it has held on to rigidly because of its mental, emotional and
psychological conditioning. A completely activated Hara consciousness is then seen by
Volume 2: Issue 7 A Monthly Spiritual E- Magazine
www.theworldunited.org/hara An initiative of THE WORLD UNITED May 2014
psychic eyes as a field that starts way beyond the auric field and ends, in a manner of
speaking, within the chakric system. That Hara consciousness which flows in an unrefined
chakric system is the consciousness of a non-developed Hara – a Hara whose consciousness
rises from a limited Heart chakra and a limited Third Eye.
The Higher Heart is truly the second channel for the Hara consciousness and not the Heart
chakra. It is now time to move your awareness away from the Heart chakra to the Higher
Heart chakra. If the Heart chakra holds all your human reactions, emotions and feelings,
what does the Higher Heart hold within itself? It holds the force of divine love. It holds that
force which fuels the unification and oneness process of the entire human race. It is not
influenced or affected in any manner by any external environmental situation. It remains
calm, tranquil, stable, still, even as the Heart chakra is leaping in happiness and sorrowfully
reacting to trauma. The Heart chakra reacts. The Higher Heart remains forever still. It does
not see any extreme. It does not judge, and what is more important, the Higher Heart does
not comment. It accepts in stillness. It does not feel the need to comment, and so it does
not strive to suppress comment. It knows what it needs to express and it expresses itself
fully, in stillness.
So when the Hara consciousness rises up to the Higher Heart, it is activating for you, two
dimensions of your reality – your spiritual reality. It activates the dimension of unity and
oneness, and it activates the dimension of a force that you have called love, but which truly
is nothing else but the purest essence of all that is divine.
And then from here the consciousness rises to the base of the skull – to that which we have
called the second root, wherein enters the consciousness of the Divine Father Shiva. Why
this area? This area at the base of the skull holds all memory of that which your energy
strands have ever experienced. Remember what we have told you over and over again.
Energy strands do not remember or recollect any event. You cannot recollect an event, for
higher consciousness is aware that events are merely created in order to bring to your
awareness certain realities. Energy strands contain within them, memories of the
experiences, not of the events. So they would contain the memory of a rejection, of a loss,
but not the event. In so-called past life regression, when you so-called see the events, they
are directed by the creative force of your Hara to create an imagery, a picture, a film, that
will help you to understand an energy that resides within you. You have not gone through
that event because you never existed. What you are now as a conglomeration of energy
strands never was, and never will be, so how could you have gone through an event
when you did not even exist?
But all memories of energies, resolved and unresolved, assimilated and unassimilated, are
contained in this area at the base of the skull. It is from this area that the Hara
consciousness creates the illusions of those images for you for the so-called past life
regression. It is from this area. You are all aware that all human embodied spirits enter this
earthly realm with a plan. Some have called this the blueprint. Though the blueprints are
now flexible because the evolution of the human race is rapid, the blueprints are still
Volume 2: Issue 7 A Monthly Spiritual E- Magazine
www.theworldunited.org/hara An initiative of THE WORLD UNITED May 2014
present, for the human race must have a plan which they follow. The knowledge of your
blueprint is also held in the region at the base of the skull. The knowledge of the journey of
your soul and its eventual merger with light again is also held within the region at the base
of the skull.
When the Hara consciousness energy rises to this second root point, which is flooded by the
consciousness of the Divine Father, which is in other words, the Divine Mind, Divine Wisdom
is now at your command. How much of this consciousness of Shiva, how much of this
consciousness of the Divine Father, the Divine Mind, will you intelligently access, depends
upon how refined is the region at the base of the skull. If you are, if your life is, more
strongly guided by your Heart chakra than your Higher Heart chakra, the region at the base
of the skull will have an unrefined energy. And thus the consciousness of Shiva that you can
intelligently access will be a weak consciousness.
This Hara flow is a double flow of energy. And it is simultaneous. It does not flow up and
then down. It flows up and down together, drawing the Gaia consciousness and the Shiva
consciousness simultaneously, as they mingle and merge within the area that is the lower
part of your belly, and there this intermingling of Gaia and Shiva becomes your Hara
consciousness. When this intermingling takes place, the unified consciousness of Gaia and
Shiva translates into your creative force, which you access through your intuition. The
greater is your living, being, consciousness through your Higher Heart, the more expanded
and refined is your intuition, and thus, the stronger and more potent is your creative force.
So you can see that you have, in a sense, two sacred cords – one is the umbilical cord
between you and Gaia, your eternal mother. And the other is the sacred cord between you
and Shiva, your divine cosmic father. These two cords are never severed. But why is it that a
large part of the human race remains ignorant of these cords, and thus in their ignorance,
feel a deep sense of loneliness and emptiness? It is because the Third Eye only sees what
the physical senses condition it to see. And the heart reacts to that Third Eye that is dictated
by the physical senses.
It is now time for this, the heart, to take a backseat. Does that mean that you will become
callous and indifferent, insensitive and cruel, unkind and unmerciful? No, it will mean that
you will
become naturally loving, naturally forgiving, naturally compassionate, naturally merciful. It
means that you will stop this nonsensical terming of ‘love’ as a feeling, and will, in fact,
experience, live and emanate love as a force. And when love is a force, this heart that leaps
in happiness and cries in its sorrow is stabilised, balanced, by the loving support and power
of the Higher Heart, which responds to all in stillness.
At present, the consciousness of your Hara is contaminated by fears and anxieties, doubts
and hesitation. It is this energy that rises upwards and thus cannot enter the Higher Heart,
but enters the heart, enters the region at the base of the skull, which holds all memories of
past patterns and thus, that which is experienced in fear and anxiety and lovelessness in the
Volume 2: Issue 7 A Monthly Spiritual E- Magazine
www.theworldunited.org/hara An initiative of THE WORLD UNITED May 2014
Hara region finds resonance in past patterns which in fact get stronger. And this
resonance from the base of the skull naturally permeates down back to the belly. And so
you are caught in what seems to you as a never ending energy of fear, sorrow, pain, trauma.
So how will you release this? As you breathe into the belly, as you have been taught,
consciously experience the movement of this energy upwards into the Higher Heart and the
base of the skull, and at the base of the skull attempt, attempt, to experience the energy of
Shiva consciousness entering and travelling downwards again through the Higher Heart into
the belly.
Why do we ask you to do this – this, which seems to you currently as impossible? We ask
you to do this so that at least a few times in the day, your energy focus will shift to Gaia and
Shiva and the Higher Heart. And this brain and this mind that have been conditioned, and
these five senses that have been conditioned, by the third dimension world will slowly but
certainly be indoctrinated to Gaia, to Shiva, to love.
Have you questioned why you are here today? Have you questioned why you are hearing
this today? The answer is simple: because you are ready. What you now do with that
readiness is your will. Will you choose to exercise your intelligent will or your divine will?
That answer will decide whether the consciousness of the Hara is the consciousness of
emotional turmoil or the consciousness of Gaia, Shiva, God.
The choice is not to react or not to react. That choice you left many miles away. There is an
even bigger choice now before you. The choice is to be or not to be God.
Greetings of light and joy!

Wisdom from Eckhart Tolle
"According to an ancient Sufi story, there lived a king in some Middle Eastern land who was
continuously torn between happiness and despondency. The slightest thing would cause him great
upset or provoke an intense reaction, and his happiness would quickly turn into disappointment and
despair. A time came when the king finally got tired of himself and of life, and he began to seek a
way out. He sent for a wise man who lived in his kingdom and who was reputed to be enlightened.
When the wise man came, the king said to him, “I want to be like you. Can you give me something
that will bring balance, serenity, and wisdom into my life? I will pay any price you ask.”
The wise man said, “I may be able to help you. But the price is so great that your entire kingdom
would not be sufficient payment for it. Therefore it will be a gift to you if you will honor it.” The king
gave his assurances, and the wise man left.
A few weeks later, he returned and handed the king an ornate box carved in jade. The king opened
the box and found a simple gold ring inside. Some letters were inscribed on the ring. The inscription
read: This, too, will pass. “What is the meaning of this?” asked the king. The wise man said, “Wear
this ring always. Whatever happens, before you call it good or bad, touch this ring and read the
inscription. that way, you wil l always be at peace.”
This, too, will pass. What is it about these simple words that makes them so powerful? Looking at it
superficially, it would seem while those words may provide some comfort in a bad situation, they
would also diminish the enjoyment of the good things n life. “Don't be too happy, because it won't
last.” This seems to be what they are saying when applied in a situation that is perceived as good."

The Most Insidious Prison is One in
Which the Inmates Think they are Free.
Written by Sri Gawn Tu Fahr
Imagine billions of beings living in a room so vast that few can see its walls. Every human experience
occurs within these confines. This gigantic room is your mind, and until you can get beyond it, you
will continue to live within its limitations, all the while believing you are free. Your golden heart is
the door to true spiritual freedom.
A mind under control can be an incredible tool. You can do crazy
things with it if you have a loving heart.
Life is about experience. Through countless lives, our minds are
programmed with other people’s ideas. Our peers, parents,
education, religion, books, government, and culture inject us
with their thoughts. We process them and call them ours. The
only things we truly know arise from our personal experiences.
Everything else is hearsay.
Analysis, dissection, reasoning, calculation, comparison,
deduction, probing, experimentation, theorizing, or postulating cannot reveal the intrinsic nature of
things. The incessant mechanical mind strives to keep soul’s attention fixated on things of the outer
world lest it discover something beyond its temporal physical body: divine love residing in each and
every heart.
Not long ago, we were told that the universe rotated around our planet and if we sailed too far into
the ocean, we would fall off the edge. Now we know better. Every time we recognize one of mind’s
lies, it fabricates another tray of delightfully deceptive delicacies and serves it up as truth.
Experience is the only teacher.
The mind is very adept at using the news media to propagate its endless messages of worry, fear,
suspicion, doubt, and tragedy, which keep us preoccupied with events in the outer world. This
greatly pleases the mind because we forget to look within our hearts, where mind has no power and
love reigns supreme.
Science is hilarious! The human eye can only see one-tenth of 1
percent of the electromagnetic spectrum, which means that
most of life’s activities go unseen; yet using very limited scientific
tools, we interpret the visible parts and claim to know so much
about life.
Science marvels at light because it moves so fast when in fact, it
is nothing more than a slowpoke. Your divine imagination is
Volume 2: Issue 7 A Monthly Spiritual E- Magazine
www.theworldunited.org/hara An initiative of THE WORLD UNITED May 2014
capable of transporting you instantly to an exotic planet billions of light years away.
We create nothing original. Creation is merely an endless reassembling of prefabricated molecules.
Nature is in a state of flux, constantly reorganizing matter to maintain balance. Things only differ in
the worlds of duality, creating a sense of separation. There is no opposite of divine love, which
permeates all life. To experience it fully, one must rise above the worlds of differences, literally out
of the body and far beyond the mind.
Since all matter eventually disintegrates, science is incapable of knowing anything of any lasting
value.
The so-called big bang theory is another one of mind’s goofy ideas meant to keep humans looking
outside of themselves for answers.
It’s a natural human trait to project outward from our being and look for something to attach to: a
hero, a book, a song, our job, our beliefs, etc. The outer world has the effect of taking our attention
away from who we truly are: soul, child of God.
The only difference between an atom and a solar system is size.
To truly understand this, a deeper, broader perspective is
required. Catapult yourself high above the confines of the mind,
pull your viewpoint way back, further than you’ve ever been, and
you will see that love is everywhere.
Many believe that humans descended from apes. Fortunately,
for the primates, there is no relation. As eternal spiritual beings,
we progress from one life form to another: mineral, plant, insect,
bird, mammal, and human. Life after life, our awareness expands
until we discover our true nature as soul, which leads us to divine
love.
Words such as size, distance, before, and after are meaningless to a love-filled heart. The mind
attempts to attach some kind of “real” value to worldly things, which all pass away. A spiritual heart
is eternal and free, a fountain of eternal love, not bound by measurement of any kind. If you wish to
experience this freedom and joy, simply go “out of your mind,” and dive into your heart.
It is interesting to note that in today’s technologically advanced societies, there isn’t a single
scientific instrument in existence that can measure love.
The concepts, “nothing” and “space’ are very interesting. To many people, they imply the absence of
anything whatsoever: emptiness, a void. Within this empty space, however, lie innumerable worlds
of wonder teeming with life and filled with divine love. I know this to be true because I visit these
glorious places daily, and I see them glistening in the eyes of everyone I meet.
Enlightenment is not something that is discovered out there. No one can enlighten us. Others may
inspire us, but ultimately, wisdom comes from within. It begins with a discovery of one’s true self,
arising from a conscious desire to know the truth. Gaze into the splendor of your golden heart, and
know that you are free.

Parable
Next Train One evening Mulla Nasruddin hurried to the station with two of his friends to
catch a train. All three were dead drunk. The Mulla tripped and fell and
missed the train, but the other two managed to get aboard. The station
master helped the Mulla to his feet and sympathized with him for missing
the train. The Mulla said, ”Don’t feel sorry for me. I can always catch the next
train. I’m worried about what will happen to those other two. They only came
to see me off.”
In the world to board the train is success, to miss it is failure; but in reality
the one who succeeds and the one who fails, the victor and the vanquished,
all are the same, for they are all equally unconscious. Rich and poor, winner
and loser, each has his slate wiped clean by death.
Everyone else, be he Alexander or Napoleon, is a total failure. Once in a
while a Buddha comes out victorious.

Ask and you shall receive
Q-n-A with Dr. Yugandhar
Rajneesh: Why many masters have left their families and live their own life?
Dr. Yugandhar: In fact, many masters have not left their families and stayed back
comfortably. When a person gets awakened, not gradually but suddenly which is most often
a reality, gradual awakening is a rarity, sudden awakening is always the reality. In many a
case, when sudden awakening happens after marriage there will be a huge consciousness
gradient between himself and his family members - spouse and children. Due to this
consciousness gradient, he is always an odd man out, he is always a mismatch, he is always
a outlier but still depending upon the strategies, based upon his personal missions a yogi
can choose to stay back, like Socrates or Lahiri Mahasaya or he can leave the family like
Swami Rama and apart from these reasons, in the himalayan tradition and other traditions
of India especially , a person before taking sanyas can be a married man, but once he
receives sanyas, he needs to relinquish his family and lead a bachelor life. Because of these
self-imposed rules, he is leaving the family to receive sanyas initiation but leaving family or
not does not make any difference because he is psychologically detached once he is
awakened. So, the psychological detachment will allow him to still be with the family and
still be the actor in this physical world, the 3D world - Thank You!
Pari Talati: Why despite putting efforts cannot be in the present
moment?
Dr Yugandhar: The answer for this question is - most of the people have
been trapped in an attitude of efforts leading to results. This efforts v/s
result is a big trap. We need to understand the motive behind the efforts - we
have been conditioned to believe that more efforts will lead to more results
or better results and fewer efforts lead to fewer results. We have been
programmed to believe this.
If we examine the ulterior motive behind the efforts, most often the ulterior
motive is fear of insecurity and with repeated efforts, if results are not seen a
person may enter into a state of void or vanity. So the seed thought of fear
of insecurity leads one to enter into a state of void, this is the reason why
Patanjali has wisely said - Abhyasa and Vairagya - abhyasa is effort whereas
vairagya means letting-go , so when you let go of what you do, what ought
to come will always come.
Volume 2: Issue 7 A Monthly Spiritual E- Magazine
www.theworldunited.org/hara An initiative of THE WORLD UNITED May 2014
How to deal with inner void?
The only way to
come out of inner
void is to come out
of the trap of effort
v/s result with the
help of
vairagya. Vairagya
doesn't mean
running away from
the family to the
jungles and staying
in a state of solitude
and isolation.
No! Vairagya means
staying where you
are and be detached
from what you do,
this nullifies all the
depression which
arises from the trap
of effort-result, if you see the word depression, there is no pressure inside
and in the state of depression there is always fear of failure, a fear of making
efforts. Depression is always seen after excitement. After excitement,
depression follows and vice versa. So, a person who has vulnerability to get
excited for getting what he wants - to that extent he has the vulnerability to
get depressed. If a person has less vulnerability for getting excited, he has a
less vulnerability for getting depressed when he loses the same thing. When
a person doesn’t get excited for what he gets, he never gets depressed for
what he loses - this is what is called 'vairagya' or detachment.
So, the whole world is conditioned with only abhyasa or sadhana or efforts
but yogis also understand the value and meaning of vairagya.. So we all need
to practise vairagya as well to become holistic beings.... Thank You!

MEDITATION
MEDITATION
Meditation is not….
Meditation is not Prayer/Worship
Meditation is not Concentration…
not Meditation requires Concentration
Meditation is not Contemplation
Meditation is not just a Method
Meditation is not ‘Doing’
Meditation a state of being which comes with emptying oneself
Meditation is choiceless awareness born out of the awakening of energy of understanding
While there is no singular method which can be called as superior or ultimate, still many
meditation methods advocate the importance of Breath
To just enjoy,
Sit Straight (Sitting Straight makes the alignment of energy
properly)
Nose and Navel should be in straight line
Close of your eyes with your hands on the lap
Watch the rise and fall of abdomen with each breath ( abdomen
raises with every inhalat ion and goes within with every exhalation)
Keep the mind’s eye in the lower abdomen
Let the breath be smooth, soft, pause less/jerk less like the flow of
oil
Allow the letting-go phenomenon happen
Let there be no expectation or craving for an experience
Slowly the meditative process starts blossoming
With continuous passive attention on Breath, slowly the mind gets
emptied and gets focussed on the inner eternal silence and the
consciousness slowly gets internalized. This internalized
consciousness has to be maintained thru out the day and night
The Mastery over Breath is said to happen when the breath always happen in
the abdomen even during normal daily activit ies of life. When the breath
patterns are changed, mind also changes.
