Policies § Procedures

-Alcohol & OLCC: OLCC requires events to provide substantial food items at the same time
alcohol is available. As a public school, UCC is not in a position to deviate from OLCC regulation.
-Cake Cutting: (Optional) A one-time $15.00 fee will be added for the cutting and plating of any
outside desserts.
-Cancellations: As a courtesy to UCC staff and students, please call as soon as possible should you need to cancel. Cancellations made with less than 72 hours’ notice will be subjected to 50% of the agreed cost. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the event will be subjected to the full cost of the event. -Customizing your event: We are happy to help customize menus and arrangements for any occasion, small or large. You will find that we offer fresh ingredients, thoughtful service, and creative preparations. Specialized catering menus from past events are available for viewing. Please note that premium selections are subject to market price and labor service fees. -Final Count: To adequately prepare for your guests, we require a final guest count 10 working days prior to an event.
-Labor: Should your event require service staff, labor is $13 an hour per server; two-hour minimum.
-Linens: Linens are billed at cost. A linen estimate will be itemized in your initial quote.
-Payment: An invoice will be billed to the address on file after the event. Invoices will reflect any
established retainers or down payments.
-Photography: Because every food creation is prized, we may photograph food items for
organizational use.
-Right of First Refusal: River Rush Catering will have the right of first refusal for all food served on campus. All food and beverages shall be provided by UCC. No other food and beverages (including alcohol) shall be served or furnished by the customer or third parties except as specifically authorized by UCC. -Tasting Policy: River Rush Catering offers the option of having a private tasting of selected
menu items (no more than 4 people.) Guests have the option to sample either three entrée and one side or two entrée and two side selections. A private tasting is $35.00. To schedule your tasting please call 541-440-4711.
