The builders even left a bunchof flowers in the kitchen ready for our arrival.”Originally part of an old dairy, the propertyoriginates from around 1880. “There’s a wall atthe back of the garden that was part of theoriginal dairy farm,” says the owner.

Brand newHaving been newly converted for the owners, theproperty was immaculate and finished to a highstandard. “We haven’t done much to the placesince we moved in, except added a wall in thesitting room to stop the warmth from the woodburner escaping up the stairs,” she says.Decorated with neutral shades, the downstairssection of the property is enhanced with oakflooring for a beautiful finish. Described as “ a good family home”,the owners of The Stable use one of theproperty’s rooms as a playroom. “It was intendedto be a dining room and could easily be used forthat, but for us it’s much better to have a spacefor the children.”
