Tips and Tricks for Getting Healthy
This year “being healthy” was one of Talking Angela’s
New Year’s resolutions and so far it’s going really well
thanks to her special “step-by-step” approach.
If Talking Angela doesn’t eat in the morning, she gets really
“HANGRY” (“hungry” + “angry”)…
One of her favorite ways to start the day is with a healthy
green smoothie.
Here’s what goes in Talking Angela’s yummy blended
smoothie: frozen bananas, a little milk or water, a spoonful of
oats, a bit of apple, a pinch of cinnamon, and a handful of
fresh spinach. Yum!
You’ve got to have an active lifestyle if you want to be
healthy so Talking Angela’s been trying to do lots of
exercise.
But you don’t need to go to the gym or to spinning
classes all the time - just use every opportunity you can
to walk!
Talking Angela runs a lot too… usually after the bus
when she’s late for something!
Or running after her hat!
Talking Angela loves to practice yoga at home too.
All of these little changes are helping Taking Angela live a
much healthier life. And she has lots more energy!
But Talking Angela has a tip for you: don’t forget to have
fun and indulge yourself every now and again! You
shouldn’t feel bad about having the occasional cupcake -
balance is the key.
