OurcontributiontothebuildingofAustralia’sspaceindustryhasbegun.TheCRCTeamisdelightedtoconfirmthatwehavesuccessfullysubmittedtheStage1SmartSatCRCproposal. TheFederalGovernmentwillannouncethesuccessfulStage1applicationssometimeinSeptember.HoweverwehavenotimetowasteandwillassumeasuccessfuloutcomeandproceedatfullthrottletodeveloptheSmartSatCRCfullbusinesscaseandStage2ApplicationwhichisdueattheendofNovember.Wearecountingonyoursupporttomakethisagreatsuccess!

Ourresearchpartner,theCSIRObroughttogetherAustralia'sSpacecommunity,attheirSpace2.0WorkshopinSydney.Itwasanexcellenteventattractingnearly100start-ups,SMEs,spaceprimes,governmentandacademiasharingknowledgeandnetworkingandidentifyingindustryneedsatthisveryimportanttimeinrespondingtotheGovernment’srecentpolicyannouncementsincludingtheExpertReferenceGroupreview,budgetandSpaceAgency.
