SmartSat CRC Newsletter Welcome to this, the first issue of our SmartSat CRC Newsletters. During the CRC Bid process we will endeavor to produce a newsletter each month to keep all of our partners and collaborators informed of the CRC activities. The SmartSat CRC belongs to all of its members, we encourage you to support it and to contribute to this Newsletter. We would like to profile our partner organisations in future newsletters; if you wish to take advantage of this pls contact us ([email protected]) Our contribution to the building of Australia’s space industry has begun. The CRC Team is delighted to confirm that we have successfully submitted the Stage 1 SmartSat CRC proposal. The Federal Government will announce the successful Stage 1 applications sometime in September. However we have no time to waste and will assume a successful outcome and proceed at full throttle to develop the SmartSat CRC full business case and Stage 2 Application which is due at the end of November. We are counting on your support to make this a great success! The somewhat changed Application Process Timeline is shown below. Newsletter Vol. 1 Issue 1 July 2018 The ‘Submit’ button was pressed… a glass or two of Champagne was consumed… some happy faces! L-R Andy Koronios (Bid Leader), Tanya Monro (DVCRI UniSA), Nicola Sasanelli (Defence SA), Peter Nikoloff (Bid Leader - Nova Group) The SmartSat Application confirmation receipt.
